Rainy morning in the Italian Alps

A rainy morning in the Italian Alps in the hot summer of 2003. Although thunderstorms kept rolling in the heatwave wasn't over. However, the weather was unstable and prevented me and the group from pushing on to the next hut over a high pass. So we had to descend from the cabin we spend the night in to the valley below. This was the look from the front door of the cabin into the valley.
