Its a scan of a slide, although most of them turn out really great I was pushing the limit at this point. Underexposed by a stop or something because it was late in the evening (about 21h I would say during summer time, to the eye it is pretty light but for the camera it was already dark). So if I try to pull out detail the image becomes one big grey blob.

I'm very pleased with how well the scans of my slides turn out (scanning with an epson V500 flatbed scanner). But the exposure has to be right on the slide to make a good shot, there is little or no recovery to be done based upon the digital image itself.
